Most of us have visited castles in the UK – it’s a classic thing to do growing up – and in Tokyo you can go a step further and actually dress as a Samurai warrior!

The Tokyo Imperial Palace never fails to impress. One of the nearest castles to Tokyo is in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. While there, you can pay to wander the grounds (but not enter the keep) in some satisfying Samurai armour.
